Our tasting room and cafe are open daily from 11:00am – 5:00pm and features our award-winning, 100% estate wines and farm-to-table fresh fare.

In addition to our café, we also house a full-service event and catering department and host a plethora of onsite and offsite occasions including Winery Events, Luncheons, Private Events and Weddings.

Positions Available:

FRONT DESK CONCIERGE | PART-TIME

Job Description- Front Desk Concierge, Part-Time (under 30 hours per week)
Lobby Hours: 7:00am-8:30pm; shifts scheduled will ebb and flow with the needs of the business
Basic Requirements
● Outstanding interpersonal communication, teamwork, sales, and customer service skills
● Great attention to detail and initiative
● Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software, inclusive of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word,
and Google Documents/Drive
● Must be able to efficiently utilize our reservation platform Resnexus (training available)
● Valid Driver’s License
● California Food Handler’s Card & Alcohol Safety training (must complete and pass the tests within 3 months of hire)
● SLOCal Welcome Training (must complete and pass the tests within 3 months of hire)
Duties
In this role you are responsible for the overall guest service of the B&B by maintaining an organized and efficient Front Desk operation, as
follows:
● Coordinates Front Desk work with other departments: Housekeeping, Kitchen Staff, Events and Tasting Room.
● Follow safety rules and procedures and take corrective action where required to improve safety of the work area.
● Coordinates the collection and submission of hotel news to the Inn Manager.
● Maintains proper B&B supplies inventory, conducts inventories as assigned and recommends purchase of products.
● Monitor housekeeping performance and communicate with the Inn Manager.
● Collect payments from guests.
● Welcome and register guests once they arrive.
● Communicate issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
● Assist with setting up guest rooms prior to arrival.
● Regular inspection of guest rooms, public areas, laundry room, and the lobby.
● Exhibit a professional demeanor towards guests and co-workers.
● Convert guests into wine club members.
● Handle complaints and make sure they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
● Work with the executive chef, events team, and food service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
● Provide excellent customer service that is “above and beyond”.
● Provide concierge-like services, assisting guests with making reservations for activities and events, whether on or off site.
● Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
● Assist with taking and organizing orders for breakfast service
● Set up daily continental/ happy hour in the lobby & interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner while pouring
wines or making coffees
● Assist the team with laundry throughout the day - washing/drying/folding/putting away
● Assist with bartending at the swim up wine-bar (expected in Summer 2024)
● Assist with various projects as delegated by management team
Experience/Education
● Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
● Exceptional customer service skills required.
● Must possess strong computer skills.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
● Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT | PART-TIME

● Must be able to safely lift up to 20lbs.
Duties
In this role you are responsible for the overall guest service of the B&B by maintaining an organized and efficient Housekeeping
operation, as follows.
● Clean & maintain the eight units at the Geneseo plus the vineyard farmhouse, per company standards
● Clean & maintain common areas of the hotel (Lobby ,housekeeping storage room, courtyard, and deck)
● Assist team members with washing and polishing of Geneseo Inn glassware & other Geneseo items as needed.
● Execution of breakfast service (room service).
● Welcome and acknowledge guests while they are on property.
● Anticipate service needs of guests.
● Apply professional language in communicating with guests and all Cass team members.
● Provide support to team in order to achieve common goals.
● Maintain company’s quality standards and expectations.
● Notify superiors of any damages, deficits and disturbances.
● Check inventory levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
● Routinely inspect all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
● Follow safety rules and procedures and take corrective action where required to improve safety of the work area.
● Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to the supervisor.
● Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always.
● Adhere to company’s dress code standards.
● Assist team members with in-house laundry - washing/drying/folding/storing.
● Exhibit a professional demeanor towards guests and potential guests.
● Handle complaints and make sure they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
● Work with the executive chef, events team, and food service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

● Safely utilize chemicals used for cleaning, and safely refill in appropriate containers.

EVENTS AND CATERING SERVER

Looking for individuals who have high energy paired with great customer service to work part time in our Events and Catering Department.

Job includes setup/breakdown, serving, and bartending for weddings & private events. This is a good position for someone looking for extra work and wants to get involved in the wine and hospitality industry. There is room for growth for the right person.

We are a boutique winery and vineyard located on the east side of Paso Robles. Our tasting room also includes a cafe which offers a full menu of food and wine pairings daily 11am-5pm. We also have an Event and Catering Department which caters to a variety of occasions. Our winery is family owned and operated and growing fast. We’re looking for individuals with a strong background in service and hospitality with focus on exceeding customer expectations.
