Cass Winery has many attractions: Great wine; amazing food (especially the crab cakes); attentive service; and a beautiful venue both indoors and outside on the patio. Cass also has entertaining events from time to time that keep us coming back again and again. It's all good.
Superb central coast California wines served unpretentiously and with great enthusiasm- what more could you want? I think Cass has some of the best wines available in the Paso Robles region, without the high prices or snootiness you would find in Napa or Sonoma; it's wonderfully refreshing!
If we lived closer, you would see us more often! We belong to a number of wine clubs (more than we should) and I have to tell you that we let most of our wines sit for quite a while before we consume them (if they are ageable). Cass wines consistently blow us away with the quality for the money. We are very happy with continuing our membership. And the few times that we have been able to visit, we've had VERY good experiences with the tours and special barrel testing. Keep up the good work!
Every time we visit Cass we are impressed with the hospitality and knowledge of your team, the delicious food from your chef, and of the superb quality of your wines! Having passionate owners/partners actively participating with the public is a great recipe to create a contagious following, something that we also employ with our very active owners. I realize that we are just a couple of customers that come in now and then to buy a case of wine – but you and your team make us feel like we are the most important people they will encounter that day. BRAVO to you for creating this culture and empowerment in your entire team. We’ll be back in a couple of months to pick up a case of Viognier and hopefully a case of Oasis Rose when it is available. With my Sister now a Cass club member, this will be a required stop for every trip to Paso. Until then our best wishes to you and yours.
WOW - Amazing wines, such a beautiful winery. The service is top notch, as well, friendly folks who love to share their food and wine. We were lucky enough to go on a Taco Bar day, tri-tip tacos, WOW WOW WOW. Amazingly delicious. It was a perfect day, great food and wine. Go here for your Paso Robles wine experience.
Thank you both so much for organizing our wedding at Cass Winery. Kelley closed the deal for us early on by being so much more responsive and detail-oriented than any other winery that we contacted. Michelle took care of all the little details before, during and after our wedding to make it a truly special experience. Kudos to Steve as well for making the vineyard and library room available for these events (and answering our frantic call on the wedding morning when the photographer was at the wrong gate!-). Thanks for treating us like family and we look forward to many more visits with you in the future.
Cannot put into words how absolutely amazing our experience was. From chef Jacobs food, to the amazing coordinator Michelle, and even the day of staff! They are the nicest people to work with. the venue was beautiful, staff was amazing, and food was perfect. I would recommend anyone to get married there! - (6.17.17; Tim & Brittany Via The Knot)
My husband and I had several recommendations from other wineries to stop by Cass for it's beautiful grounds and incredibly good food. We stopped by for lunch last year and we immediately fell in love. Their ceremony site is so dreamy and we loved the idea of getting married under a giant oak tree surrounded by vineyards. - (9.30.17; Charlie & Caitlin Via Wedding Wire)
Michelle, the day of coordinator for Cass, was one of the best parts of our wedding. She is calm, meticulous, so incredibly sweet and made wedding planning a piece of cake. I feel so blessed to have had such an incredible planning experience and I truly owe it to Michelle and the team at Cass. My wedding exceeded all expectations I had, it seriously brings a smile to my face every time I think about it! - (9.30.17; Charlie & Caitlin Via Wedding Wire)
Where do I begin?! My husband and I had our wedding at Cass on August 19th and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! The venue is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect size for our 60 person wedding. All our guests commented on how beautiful the winery and venue were! Michelle was AMAZING!! If I can give a bride one piece of advice, it would be to hire Michelle for your day of services! She worked with me from the time of booking all the way up through the day after the wedding. She made our day absolutely perfect :) - (8.19.17; Kara & Justin Via The Knot)
My husband and I had our wedding at Cass on August 19th and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! The venue is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect size for our 60 person wedding. All our guests commented on how beautiful the winery and venue were! The food was top notch and the wine.... just AMAZING. The guest house is also a huge plus! So cute, and so convenient for getting ready on the day of, as well as somewhere to stay on the wedding night. I would recommend Cass to anyone and everyone!!! - (8.19.17; Kara & Justin Via The Knot)
The food at Cass Winery is simply The. Best. At most weddings you get dry chicken or overcooked fish. We did a Burger Bar and it was a huge hit! We also ditched the wedding cake and opted for an Ice Cream Truck (Negronti's) which Cass recommended. When the truck pulled up after dinner, you could hear the excitement! Who doesn't want ice cream?! Plus, having ice cream cones made for some adorable pictures! - (9.16.17; Amber & Josh Via The Knot)
The ceremony site is under an old, beautiful oak tree and guests walk up this path right next to the grape vines in order to get there. It's absolutely breathtaking and you have shade! Who wants to get married while squinting in the sun? The reception is held right outside their tasting room. They provide farmhouse tables and chairs. I have nothing but good things to say about this venue from the wine, the food, the natural beauty of the vineyard to the amazing staff, servers, chef, owners and do yourself a favor and hire Michelle Curry, the wedding coordinator at Cass to be your day-of rescuer/planner/goddess! You will not regret it! - (9.16.17; Amber & Josh Via The Knot)
Cass Winery was my wedding venue on September 4th 2016. It was the most perfect, picturesque venue with the best staff I could have ever hoped for. Cass is the perfect place for a rustic, California wedding. The wedding package is very reasonably priced for everything that comes with it. It includes the wedding and reception site, a 2 night stay in the Cass guesthouse, and use of their vintage Cass cab! - (9.4.16; Tanna & Ren Via The Knot)
Michelle Curry is the wedding coordinator, although her services are not included in the wedding package I HIGHLY recommend you spend the money to have her. She made my wedding 100% stress free both with day of coordinating, taking care of ALL my rentals and communication with my flowers, DJ, rental delivery, cake delivery etc. If there were last minute things that needed to be done, she took care of it. I am so thankful for her. The money spent was well worth having a stress free wedding. - (9.4.16; Tanna & Ren Via The Knot)
The guesthouse is amazing. Its the perfect place to get ready and it looks so cute in photos. They have a vanity that make for some adorable reflection shots and plenty of natural lighting for hair, makeup and photos. There are 3 bedrooms which make it easy for my bridal party to stay with me the night before. Included in the wedding package is 2 bottles of sparkling Marsanne for mimosas while getting ready the day of! Cass wines are also delicious. We served the Cass Rose and Grenache. Both were a hit! If you become a wine member you get a great discount on the wine. - (9.4.16; Tanna & Ren Via The Knot)
Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Cass. From the beautiful venue, the amazing staff, the food, wine, guesthouse and Cass cab! I would 110% recommend anyone who wants a rustic vineyard wedding to Cass! - (9.4.16; Tanna & Ren Via The Knot)
